Description

Made from clone 667 out of the Riverbench Vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley. This wine had 50% whole cluster added during fermentation and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. Whole cluster fermentation adds texture and mouth feel to this wine that is also ever-present in old world Pinot Noir. The 667 is a smooth red with notes of black cherry followed by black truffle and a hint of minerality on the palate. Pair this wine with smoked white fish or mushroom risotto.
